Canon 05 Of Missionary Districts
Section 1.
The Council of Bishops may, upon recommendation of the Presiding Bishop, establish a Missionary District in any area where there is need, and where no organized Diocese presently exists.
Section 2.
The Council of Bishops shall then choose a Missionary Bishop for that area, and proceed to set a date for his consecration (if needed) and installation. |
